What we can help with

Send us bugs, browser problems, wording corrections or rules you'd like the generator to support. For a bug report, include your browser name and version, operating system, approximate group size, and settings such as households, blocked pairings, no swap-backs, and Quick or Locked mode. If the tool refused the draw, quote the error message, replacing any real names with made-up ones.

For a maths correction, point to the count, calculation or claim that looks wrong. The methodology page sets out the draw methods and their limits. Include your reasoning or an example we can check.

What we cannot help with

We cannot retrieve lost links. We have no account record or server copy of your sealed links, keep links or participant codes. Support cannot look them up or restore them.

First ask the organizer to resend the sealed link from the send list or their saved copy. Keep the original draw tab open if you still have it. If someone drops out, that tab may be able to re-seal one affected link, but the changed row tells the organizer who had that person. Closing or reloading the tab removes that repair option; a saved link can still be resent. If the copies you need are gone, start a fresh draw with a new draw ID and tell everyone to use the new links, not the old ones. In Locked mode, anyone who has lost their keep link needs to make a new participant code first. Drop-outs and redraws explains the options and what each reveals.

We cannot tell you who drew whom, whether you organized the draw or took part in it. We have no assignment records to consult.

Please don't send us your links

A sealed link carries an assignment; a keep link contains a private key. Neither belongs in a support email. Describe what happened without including either link. You can also try the generator's preview, which opens a Quick draw with made-up names through the same reveal page. Tell us whether the problem happens there too.
